What is phonological awareness?

phonological awareness is the awareness of all the sounds of language. And 'the ability to listen and distinguish sounds.

There are five skills of phonological awareness involved. These include:

Title: It 's important for children to learn the basic skills to begin learning to listen for certain things phonological awareness.
The words and phrases: Children must be able to distinguish what is a word to know that there are penalties attributes.

These skills leadChildren learn to blend and segment individual sounds and phonemes. Blending (putting sounds together) is the foundation for reading. Children need to combine individual sounds to bring them together and create a recognizable word.
