Technology and the impact on teaching

I ask what kind of impact does technology have on the development and delivery of the statement given the great technological progress has made in recent years as it continues to make progress in the lesson plans and classroom teachers. In the following sections, to explore both positions on this issue, because the technology has a positive impact on teaching, and why you might have a negative impact.

It 'possible that the technology can be beneficialIn the classroom at all grade levels.
There are many points that made the argument in agreement on the positive impact technology has in the class could be, but I will focus on three.

Let us first consider the phenomenon we call 21st Century access to information to focus on the World Wide Web can not argue that, if they have access to the Internet, children and pass information of places and on subjects who had never opened, before the Internet, our infiltratorLife. The options are endless. Ancient documents can be read, the cards can be viewed from different perspectives, interactive activities, people from all parts of our world can be met and all our children reach. It 's a matter of fact, the Internet lit up our students in a way that no teacher ever could.

When we talk about a future fellow teachers about the benefits of technology in the classroom, told me about a class, she was included in this an autistic child. This guy wasable to learn in a conventional manner, was actually failing because of his disability (he was not clear to me what they were). Eager to meet his needs, classroom teachers began to give lessons in the autistic child on a computer, and the boy could learn his curriculum was required. I assume that there are other cases like this in our classrooms. Taking this into account, you can see that technology in sufficientClassroom allows differentiated teaching, which is beneficial to all students, not just those with special needs.

Finally, I would like to point out that "technology" is that teachers are a lot of things, a base class would need to consider. Examples could include, white boards, overhead projectors, and even the board. For most teachers, with a class without these needs is not a class room at all.

While the technique can be seena positive impact on our classrooms, we can also see how much of a negative influence of technology for the development and delivery of instruction in our classrooms. The reader will be able to see, as I discuss the following three reasons.

Many advantages, which were of the Internet in our classes as part of our training referred to above. Consideration should be given, but the negative aspects with which this world of information in the classroom are connected by wiresand screens. Along with wonderful resources on the Internet, provides a link to any aspect of our society scary. Many ethical questions have been raised here, and educational administration and legislation and continues to establish rules to prevent this material to infiltrate our students' eyes and minds, but the problem remains.
Although many new technology resources that can provide differentiated instruction can improve, we must ask ourselves what would happen ifthat the technology failed. If the child does not need to be able to learn something special about that day? Or is it a lesson that did not turn a broken projector can be taught? These are legitimate questions, thoughts and points that those who might oppose the integration of technology in the classroom.

Personally, I have some teachers use technology to reduce their student-teacher interaction with experience. While teachers in general embarrassment, would prevent an injustice to this card to a point just makes it look bad because our educators. In case of abuse, may reduce the time of video and computer considerably the amount of time teachers actually spend teaching their students. This leads to a series of problems with poor management and lack of class differentiation. When this happens, the abuse, you can clearly see how big the negative influence of technology on our classes have.

In my opinion, the advancement of technologychanged the basis of the above discussion. As technology expands and advances, and accessibility, which increases for classroom teachers, the two sides of this debate is yet to be defined and more arguments. The professionals have become more positive, and the advantages and disadvantages are more negative and threatening. John D. Ross was precisely with this topic in the article "Towards an effective use of technology in education, he said," For technology to have a positiveThe impact on student performance must be principals, direct and support the integration of technology in teaching and learning and school management. "

We can not state my opinion on whether the technology works only with the development and delivery of education in a positive or negative. Until there are many reasons why technology has a positive effect on teaching. Despite these developments are encouraging and easy to find, to be true, it is not possibleIgnoring the negative aspects of the growing use of technology in the classroom and how they affect the most important thing in our classroom, our students. As with many aspects of teaching, this issue is not black and white. A person can believe that, while both types of arguments to give good points, neither dictate nor the technology should be completely removed from our lessons. They then came to the conclusion that the technology (based on the benefitsabove) may have a positive influence on both the supply and development of teaching only if used properly and appropriately. The positive effect depends on the teachers and administration. If teachers do not recognize the power of the Internet, we are there and give our students and teachers, when men shall revile you, and the benefits of technology in class, could only be detrimental to the educational system.

Toys and technology continues to increase

Gone are the days when some stuffed animals, dolls or a few trucks and a number of blocks would be the basic toys a child would be in their rooms. Today, children have these things mean, at least two or three more electronic toys, the game is for educational purposes only o.

Today, toys are not just for fun. There is a growing emphasis on children to learn a few months after birth. A doll was once something simple and nice forto have a child. Now we can talk about dolls, eat and go to the bathroom. Teddy Bears are used to just be a friend to cuddle. Now some teddy bears are now teaches. For many years, meant to block educational toy, beads, puzzles, and balls. These toys help children learn about color, shape and number of children that allow them to explore the concepts of big and small, more or less. But that was "yesterday".

Today, toys that are usually not a typical connection to technology, wired. It isa new generation of soft toys and dolls, which are now on the web pages, so that children cuddle and dress them one minute, and then go online to social-network, are linked in the next minute.

Over the past five years, has increased the number of activated siginifigant children's toys also available technology, the original Tickle Me Elmo and Baby Born look like relics were doing. Children have become major consumers, it is natural that children's toys would movethe same rate as the technology of adults.

Some parents and some may feel in education with technology so that a child has the opportunity to be really creative. It seems that everything is already done or easy, by following a few buttons. Years ago preschool and kindergarten were mostly about the game. Today, parents expect their children's day care for at least two or three computers with a good curriculumLearning.

Some games can be educational, but what the children think of these toys? .. "Many who have studied children and toy technology, say the children a real fascination with new technology if it improves in creative play with tech toys, and have fun while learning how the real guilty is the question - are fun really more than other children in front of all the toys new technology, or have just been "programmed" that way?
